Got another story percolating...has the potential to be dark though. Very dark. Might put up a prologue tonight or tomorrow morning. You guys can give the thumbs up or thumbs down. Like the others I have no idea where it will go. But I'm sure it will go someplace. lol.

Uh oh, Ms_Figg, you might end up having to think of a new way to organize your links. You have too many stories now! You might have to consolidate all your naughty SS/HG fics into one area instead of letting them be free-range stories.
Also- I LOVED your dark story Inside the Blackest Heart. I think that was my favorite.

did you get my email about the story where Raucous is hermione's familer and he does mean things to severus. like he does to hermione in your other stories.
Yes I did, Lynette. That would be humorous but I like Raucous as Severus' snarky bird. I don't think Severus would stand for it too long. He withstood Crookshanks, but was planning on making the cat/kneazle disappear when Hermione sent him home. So, Raucous just probably wouldn't survive long as Hermione;s familiar. But you and anyone else is welcome to put any of my original characters into a story of your own. Just say where you got him or her someplace and it would be all good. Maybe you could write the Raucous switch and let me read it. :)
The homepage looks a little squawky..
Koda: Squawky? lol..I don't know what that is. But I had to do something to make the front page more navigation-friendly for readers and to save space. Now you can see all the stories listed at one glance instead of having to scroll down and look on both sides, and I don't have all those banner like announcements posted straight down. The same with the other links. I want people to be able to get around the site easier. It is a simple straight forward design that gets the job done. Now, I will fly...squawking all the way. lol.
Lol.. squawky is the first word that came to mind. But maybe you could put links on the other side? <g> Sorry, sort of aspiring to be a graphic designer one day, lol.
A new story already!!!! YES!!! Can't wait to sit down and start reading it as soon as family leaves me alone with my baby ;) Which means i will never be able to read it!! :) I love all of your stories can't wait to read a dark fic its been a while since I read anything dark I think I am due.

have you thought about doing a seqaul to your story the ring. having it set a yr after the ring ended with the hermione finding out that the boys help there sister along. i think it would be fuuny. severus and hermione's sons in that story where so cute and funny. is any of them based on your 3 kids when they where little.
djh: If you have an idea, write it and stop critiquing your own work...lol. The worst that can happen with the story is it won't win. But it will probably still entertain the hell out of us...or at least squick us. Write it anyway and send it in!

Ya Ms_Figg, if you write a sequel to the Ring it would fun to read. those three boys are a piece of work and now that there is a sister would be cool. Imagining what would happen if Hermione got to know about the mandrake potion. lol. Bt i was wondering if you would also continue the "severus brings the new year with a bang" lol. ya its the twisted side of me asking for it. bt just thought that hermione had been deeply affected after that new year night. she might not let anyone near her after that. and also severus is deliciously dark in it and blah blah blah. hehe. bt right now, im looking forward to your "you promised..." chapters. i hope u consider doing the sequels at some point. hehe. see u next chapter in ÿou promised". :D

I just discovered that I have 25 stories on thePotionsMaster.net but I only put 5 stories there myself!!! And they are all uploaded under my log-in! That's kind of unsettling...not that I mind having them there...but I didn't put them there. I am completely freaked right now.
Ok..the answer to the mystery of my stories being on Whispers is pretty cool, even if overzealous. When Potionsmasters.net saw AFF was going down, they put the works of shared authors in a temp file in case the site went down completely, then were going to contact them to ask if they wanted them placed on the Whispers site. My stories ended up in the actual database and were posted. Even though they didn't have my permission to post them, I think it was extremely thoughtful for them to attempt to save the stories for their authors. I would have posted them myself, but there were too many stories and too many chapters. So actually I am glad they did it. You have to give them props...they seem to really care about our stories.

Yeah, I was freaked out too about mine being on there. Since I don't plan on finishing it, and wanted to delete it anyways, lol. I was just trying to look something up and went... I do NOT remember being on this site before right now... Ms_Figg, have you ever considered putting up a link page to other authors you know; creating a little network of the evil fanfiction geniuses that all congregate here at the motherload?

yes, eventually I am going to make a links page to other fanfiction sites and authors. But the links to the authors will be one link per author so hopefully they will send in a link that leads to a directory of their works. I'll be putting out a call for author links in a few and the links will have to be sent in during a certain time period. So I am not constantly spending time adding links.

I love poetry, so I'm really considering buying a book tho I'm kind of strapped for cash between food and bills- I AM a book nut... but I don't like buying things that I can't preview a little. You have someodd number of poems, could you post one or part of one so that people can see your style and decide if they'd like it? Because I love poetry, and I love your stories.. but I haven't read any of your poetry, so I really wouldn't know if I loved it, lol.

Brianne: I'm still not able to upload to AFF, so I'm not able to post there. Most likely the stories I have here will stay here because...well I am lazy. lol. Loading 100 chapters to AFF isn't my idea of fun. Loading them as I write them is one thing...but man...not all these finished chapters :)
No, I meant are you gonna post anything that you had over at AFF before it went to hell on THIS site? I'd like to see the rest of Disharmony in the Dungeon. ANd sad to say, now that all that stuff from AFF was lost, I don't think I'll see it again :(
I enjoyed 'You Promised It Would Be Forever' a great deal. Thanks for writing it. I was pleasantly surprised by the original character pairing you gave Ginny; it is certainly an unusual combination, but as carefully as you personified Percival into an individual, the coupling seemed to work effectively.

I started reading your stories on AFF and absolutley couldn't go one day without cheking for updates. I was totally devestated when they shut down or whatever they did. the end of love bites was a nice change from your other endings. I really liked it and every time you manage to portray severus different yet still the same but you emphasize on differetn aspects of his character every time. love V

Since you said you have no idea for a new one, what about - Hermione is in a comitted relationship and Snape decides he wants her as a wife at all costs or Snape gets dosed with empathy potion and realizes Hermione is the only one who doesn't hate, feels indifferent ect. towards him?
Ohhhhh and so another story is finished. Great story!! Everytime you finish one I get nervous and hope that you'll post another one. That's just fascinating where all the plots "come" from!! I hope there will be at least another hundred or so stories here... =) So I wish that your muse has eternal youth and won't shrivel up and die someday... and that your plot bunnies keep up their rapid (or rabid) multiplying... and that the Gods of Electricity are always in your favour... and whatever else you might desire!!

Okay, So I had this brain storm and I thought you might be able to do something with it. You had said you didn't know what you would write next ....well here is what I got. Okay so something to do with Snape making a potion ( or Hermione) that shows you who would be a good mate for you like maybe he sees different colors around different women but unsusspected side effect is that if you find your perfect match you are drawn to them and maybe something like have to be with them or you become ill or something like that. Brain is fine. He's happy, healthy, playing with the other dogs Fina and Jack. When Dell moved to NY with him, the woman she lived with made her keep Brain in a kennel for most of the day. He had never been kenneled and was used to running about, being loved and spoiled. He was so miserable. When he came home he weighed about 7 pounds. Normally he weighed ten. I could count his ribs and he had no weight to him when I picked him up. But he was so happy to see me, he started howling in the airport. It is now 4:25 am in the morning, and all three dogs are playfighting all over the house. lol. You get used to all the growling and running though. They woke me up to go out...three cold noses in the face, how can you not love it? Anyway, thanks for asking about him, Visitor. He's just fine. :))

Hi Hestia: The stories are just too long to transfer. :( Maybe I will ask readers for help on doing it. Maybe they could choose a story, copy save each chapter to plain html like chapter1.htm chapter2.htm etc, zip them and email them to me. I could make a directory, add them and adjust the pages. If anyone is interested in helping me to transfer the stories on aff to this site, send me an email. I'd love to put them all on this site.

i love your stories -- i've read almost all of them multiple times. i am astounded by your intelligent creativity, especially given how often you write. and i continue to be impressed by the technical quality of your work. if it means more, regarding the "technical quality," i'm a child of two english teachers, a double english/history major, magna cum laude and highest honors. not about me, but about you. i'm just not creative in writing -- woo you. i simply cannot do what you do, although i've always wished that i could. i'm an attorney, but have stopped working to move back home to indiana to take care of my mama -- she has copd, emphysema, and asthma, and needs help for most things. so, reading your stories lets me go away. thank you.
Thanks for being such a great writer. I finally found your site. A.F.F. was pretty messed up for awhile so I wasn't reading at that site for a bit. I read "The Ring" awhile back when your stories were in A.F.F. That still has got to be one of my favorites. "The List" is also wonderful. Keep up the great work. Wow visitor, that was a great buy. I would have definitely gone for it if I hadn't been blessed enough to get the other one, thanks to the response of the readers to the book drive. I love your stories! It's been great being able to read quality HG/SS stories without having to wait forever for the next update. Like many others, with The Makeover completed, I can't wait to see what's next. You've been brilliant in touching upon the various HG/SS scenarios, but I just wanted to throw out the suggestion of a dark story with the "typical" if Voldemort ruled the world. You know, the scenario with our favorite Deatheater double crossing the light and getting Hermione as a prize (a.k.a. slave). (Adding your flair to the plot, of course!) Just a thought. My idea is this: Adam is conscius that before he became the queen vampire that Victor had like to indulge in female coupling so because he prefer his consort to be in a good mood he permit he sometimes go seek the ladies... Until he suspect, with some reasons, that Victor seek out only one female and he may harbor felling for lady Hermione Granger and, she, for Victor. In order to recuperate his consort, Adam decide to find a better suitor for Hermione in the person of a dashing, in his opinion, Severus Snape. But, is Severus a man that a vampire can manipulate? Did he have the qualities that miss Granger seek and needs? Maybe more than a makeover will be need to achive results here... Can Adam make these two peoples fall in love and how will Victor will take it? So it is up to you to write this story and if you do I sure will read it!! À la prochaine!!
